Learning the academic curriculum occurs best when students sense that teachers and other school staff care about them, when students feel safe from bodily harm and free of verbal put-downs, disrespect, or harassment, and when teachers understand multiple intelligence and employ practices that meet student learning styles. If students are given the opportunity to interact and learn from one another in a positive environment they will be much less to likely bully.
